Summary:
The story tells about a man, Chance, who lives in a house with an old man and a maid. Chance has lived for as long as he can remembers in the house with the old man. He has never been outside the house, only in the garden, so he knows nothing about the real world, only the things he has seen on television. At one day the old man dies and no one knows who Chance is, because there are no papers like birth certificate or passport. So he is evicted by the lawyer of the old man.
