The novel was first published in 1813. It was Jane Austen’s first novel, which she initially titled First Impressions. The seemingly unconquerable pride of Darcy, and Elizabeth’s unreasonable prejudice are the obstacles which have to be removed before the two can truly love each other.

Very good summary, but as I’ve read the book I know that Mr Collins is Mr Bennet’s cousin, not his nephew.

Deze samenvatting is goed. Alleen jammer dat niet consequent bent in het begruik van de namen. Je zegt wel de hele tijd Elizabeth, en noemt haar geen Lizzy, maar je noemt Catherine wel de hele tijd Kitty.
