The Author

The author of Animal Farm is George Orwell, he is born in India at the 25th of June in 1903. He died in London at the 21st of January in 1950.
Orwell’s parents were members of the Indian Civil Service and after education he joined the Indian Imperial Police in Burma. Orwell was wounded and when the Communists attempted to eliminate their allies on the far West, fought against them and was forced to flee for his life.
Orwell’s two best-known books are Animal Farm (1945) and Nineteen Eighty-Four (1949).
