A very nice book, I think, because it describes the main characters very, very well and this story
has also got a very special view about death which I adore to read about.
In this story there are also many nice sentences, for instance when Clara says to her granddaughter
that she should never be afraid for the death... then Clara says she wants to go up to her bed and
"rest in her calm blue sea of silk...".
I have also seen the movie, this was very adorable! Antonio Banderas played the part of Pedro Segundo,
Meryl Streep performed Clara, Glenn Glose had to play the sweet sister Férula, Winona Ryder had the part
of Blanca and (last but not least) Esteba
